Neuza Silva é doutorada em Psicologia Clínica pela Faculdade de Psicologia e de Ciências da Educação da Universidade de Coimbra e pela Faculdade de Psicologia da Universidade de Lisboa. Atualmente, é investigadora de pós-doutoramento no grupo de investigação Relações, Desenvolvimento e Saúde da Unidade I&D Centro de Investigação do Núcleo de Estudos e Intervenção Cognitivo-Comportamental e no Centro Alemão de Investigação em Serviços de Saúde em Dermatologia, do Centro Médico Universitário de Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE, Alemanha). Os seus interesses de investigação focam-se na Psicologia da Saúde, com particular interesse em condições crónicas de saúde, qualidade de vida, necessidades do paciente e benefícios do tratamento, estigmatização na doença crónica e sexualidade.

Neuza Silva holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology by the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Coimbra and the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Lisbon. Currently, she is a postdoctoral researcher at the Relationships, Development and Health research group of the R&D Unit Cognitive-Behavioral Center for Research and Intervention and at the German Center for Health Services Research in Dermatology, Institute for Health Services Research in Dermatology and Nursing of the  University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE, Germany). Her current research interests are focused on Health Psychology, with particular interest in chronic health conditions, quality of life, patient needs and treatment benefits, stigmatization and sexuality.
